From the Commodore \
It is that time again to get this party started. We are looking forward to the upcoming cruising season. The weather will hopefully cooperate this year and we will have clear skies and little wind.
I would like to thank Les and Mary Lou Johnson for their efforts in making the Change of Watch dinner a great success. The Country Club has always been a great venue for our dinner and meeting. The food was superb as always. The staff really goes out of their way to make our event a real success.
The Dos Rios Yacht Club is required to have four regular board meetings a year. In order to accomplish this requirement we will have a Board meeting on the March Cruise. The meeting is planned for Friday at 1500. At this board meeting I would like to push forward the proposition of sending ”Thank You” cards to the Yacht Clubs that were kind enough to host our group. I think this would be a great way to let the hosting club know how much we enjoyed their facilities and efforts to make us comfortable. These cards may also elevate our status as an appreciative organization for future visits.
We will also need to insure that all our committee positions are filled. The following is a list of committees that are in the Yacht Club:

Please let me know if the persons in these committees would still like to serve. As you can see we have a couple of vacant spots, so if you would like to volunteer also please let me know prior to our Board meeting.
